Why I built this

I’ve spent over 14 years working in the pool industry, building my experience hands-on in both construction and maintenance. I started my career in California and, in 2016, relocated to Colorado with my family, where I’ve continued to grow and refine my craft.



Over the years, one challenge consistently stood out to me—priming pool pumps, especially in systems where the pump sits above the water level. The traditional method of using a bucket to manually fill the pump is not only time-consuming, but often frustrating and inefficient.



I knew there had to be a better way.



That’s what led me to develop Catching Prime. An innovative solution designed to simplify the priming process and significantly reduce the time it takes to get pumps up and running. This product was built from real, on-the-job experience with the goal of helping pool professionals work more efficiently and effectively.



What started as a simple idea has turned into a product I’m proud of. One that brings a modern solution to an outdated process. I’m excited to share Catching Prime with the industry and help others save time, reduce frustration, and get the job done right.
